How it works
Coeliac disease is an autoimmune reaction to gluten (proteins in wheat, barley and rye). This test specifically detects IgA-type antibodies against tissue transglutaminase (t-TG) in the blood. By demonstrating these antibodies, the test functions as a reliable tool for early screening. Ingredients
The test kit contains a test cassette in a protective pouch, a capillary pipette for blood collection, a vial with dilution liquid and a sterile lancet.
Use & Dosage
1. Prepare the test device, the pipette and the dropper bottle with diluent. Remove them from the protective pouch. Remove the screw cap from the dilution dropper bottle. 2. Clean the tip of the middle finger or ring finger with alcohol. Press the lancet firmly against the side of the finger and press the release button. 3. Bring the plastic pipette into contact with the blood sample without pressing the bulb. The whole blood migrates to the indicated line. 4. Dispense the blood into the sample opening of the cassette by pressing down on the bulb of the pipette. Wait 30-40 seconds. Add 4 drops of diluent to the well, at intervals of 2-3 seconds. Read the result after 15 minutes. Do not interpret after 20 minutes.
