Instructions for use:

1. Place one to two tablespoons of seeds in a glass jar (at least 1.5 litres, with a wide neck) and add plenty of lukewarm water.
2. Secure a plastic or fibreglass mesh over the jar with a strong elastic band. Avoid aluminium mesh, as it may be treated.
3. Drain the water after approximately 6 hours of soaking, rinse the seeds, and drain again.
4. Place the jar at room temperature, tilted upside down in a colander, rack, or tray so excess water can drain. Ensure sufficient airflow and spread the seeds/sprouts along the length of the jar after each rinse. Avoid direct sunlight or placing near a heater.
5. Rinse the seeds/sprouts approximately 3 times a day during the growing period (about 4 days), always returning the jar to its tilted, upside-down position.
6. After the final rinse, allow the sprouts to air-dry for at least 18 hours at room temperature before consuming or storing them in the fridge.

Tip for removing hulls:
Fill a bowl with lukewarm water, loosen the sprouts in it, and 'waft' the hulls over the edge. Scoop the sprouts out of the water, return them to the jar, and allow them to air-dry for at least 18 hours.

Store any remaining sprouts refrigerated (max. 7°C) and covered (not airtight).

Storage advice:
Store in a dry, dark place in a sealed container.
