Dulcolax 10mg suppositories contain bisacodyl, an active substance that stimulates the intestinal mucosa. This accelerates bowel movements and propels the contents forward. These suppositories act directly on the lining of the rectum, the end of the large intestine.

This product is used for difficult bowel movements (constipation).

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine. Do not use in cases of bowel obstruction, gastrointestinal blockage, acute appendicitis, acute intestinal inflammation, severe abdominal pain accompanied by nausea and vomiting (which may indicate serious conditions), or severe dehydration. Avoid use if experiencing sudden, severe abdominal pain shortly before inserting the suppository.
