Ingredients

Nicotine, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, polyethylene terephthalate, ethylene vinyl acetate, polyethylene film, polyisobutylene, and white ink (titanium dioxide E171).

Use & Dosage

For smokers who smoke more than 10 cigarettes per day, it is recommended to follow the following dosage schedule: Step 1 NiQuitin Clear 21 mg/24 hours - 1 patch every day for the first 6 weeks, then Step 2 NiQuitin Clear 14 mg/24 hours - 1 patch every day for the next 2 weeks, then Step 3 NiQuitin Clear 7 mg/24 hours - 1 patch every day for the last 2 weeks. Light smokers (fewer than 10 cigarettes per day) start at Step 2. Maximum dosage: 1 patch per 24 hours. Apply to clean, dry, intact, and hairless skin. After application, press the patch for 10-20 seconds. Alternate the location of the patch daily. Avoid contact with eyes and nose. Wash hands after use. Do not use for longer than 6 months without consulting a doctor.

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine, if you do not smoke, smoke only occasionally, or in children under 12 years of age. NiQuitin Clear should only be used by young people (12-17 years) on the advice of a doctor. Young people (12-17 years) must not use NiQuitin patches together with oral forms of NiQuitin. Remove the patch before an MRI procedure to avoid burns. Stop immediately in the event of a severe or persistent skin reaction. During pregnancy or breastfeeding: must NOT be used unless on the strict advice of a doctor. Consult a GP when using theophylline, antidepressants, antipsychotics, beta-blockers, medicines for heart rhythm disorders, or cancer, or in cases of (severe) asthma, COPD, heart disease, and diabetes.
