Avoiding excess sugars is a sensible choice for your vitality, but it can be difficult to find tasty alternatives for making homemade treats. Traditional gelling agents often contain large amounts of sugar and calories, which does not fit within a low-carbohydrate diet or a conscious lifestyle. Green Sweet Sweet Jelly uses a unique combination of natural sweeteners and agar agar, a plant-based gelling agent. The carbohydrates in this product come from erythritol, a polyol that is not absorbed by the human body or converted into energy. As a result, the product provides virtually no calories and has a glycemic index of zero, which helps you to reduce sugar in your daily routine in a responsible way.

Basic recipe for jam:
Take about half a kilo of fruit and cut it into pieces. Put the cut fruit together with 2 tablespoons of Sweet Jelly in a pan and bring to the boil while stirring. Let the whole mixture simmer over low heat for about five minutes and then puree the fruit with a hand blender. Pour the warm mixture into a glass jar and let it cool well. Your homemade jam will keep for about 6 weeks in the fridge. If you prefer thicker jam, you can always add some gelatine or agar agar next time.
Store in a cool and dry place. Excessive use may have a laxative effect due to the presence of erythritol.
