Read the safety precautions carefully before use.
1. Pre-treatment
Before colouring, apply the Intensive Protective Serum to dry hair. Open tube A for this and massage gently into your hair, concentrating on the damaged parts of the hair. For an even colour result, do not use on the hair roots. Leave to act during preparation of the colour mixture. Do not rinse out.
2. Mixing
a. Put on the included gloves E.
b. Open the application bottle with developer liquid C. Then open the colour cream tube B using the pointed cap. Then empty the entire tube content into the application bottle C.
c. Close the application bottle C tightly and shake vigorously so that an even mixture is created.
d. Do not leave the mixture in the closed bottle. As soon as the mixture is ready, open the application bottle C and apply it immediately.
3. Application
Hair not yet coloured: Using the application bottle C, apply the mixture to dry hair. Leave to act for 30 minutes.
Already coloured hair: For already coloured hair and regrowth, apply the mixture first only to the hair roots. Use approx. 2/3 of the mixture for this. Leave to act for 20 minutes. Then distribute the rest of the mixture over the hair lengths and ends. Leave to act for another 10 minutes.
4. Rinsing
After the processing time has elapsed, rinse the hair with lukewarm water until the rinse water is clear. If necessary, the hair can be washed briefly with a mild shampoo, for example Guhl Colour Retention & Care or Guhl Colorshine.
5. Post-treatment
Finally, apply the included Intensive Restorative Treatment D evenly to the washed, wet hair. Massage gently into the hair, leave to act briefly and enjoy the soft experience. Rinse well. Now you can style your hair as usual.
For long hair (over the shoulders), use at least 2 packs of Protecture Protective Cream Colourant.
Store closed, out of reach of children.
Observe the indicated processing times. The processing time starts after the colourant has been fully applied. The colour of the mixture may change during colouring. This is normal and has no effect on the colour result. For very thick, strong or heavily greyed hair, extend the processing time by 5 to 15 minutes. As soon as the mixture is ready, open the application bottle and apply the entire product immediately. Under no circumstances store the resulting mixture. To prevent the colourant from getting on the face, you can apply a greasy skin cream at the hairline. Any colour stains on the skin can be easily removed with a cotton pad soaked in shampoo. To protect clothing, you can put an old towel around your shoulders. Protect textiles, furniture and other utensils against colour stains.
Safety precautions: Do not colour your hair if: you suffer from a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp; you have previously had a reaction after hair colouring; you have had a reaction in the past after a temporary tattoo with black henna. Temporary tattoos with black henna can lead to an increased risk of an allergic reaction. Wear suitable gloves. Do not use if your hair has been coloured with henna or metal salts. Do not use for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows. This can cause blindness. Avoid contact with the eyes. Rinse eyes immediately if the product has come into contact with them. Keep out of reach of children. Contains hydrogen peroxide, resorcinol, phenylenediamines (toluenediamines). Contains sodium sulphite to preserve the colourant. Prevent the product from coming into contact with clothing, plastic or absorbent surfaces. In the event of an unexpected reaction occurring during use (such as itching, burning sensation, rash), rinse the hair colourant immediately with lukewarm water. Stop use and consult a doctor if necessary. Before applying a hair colour treatment again, in any case seek advice from a doctor and follow the advice strictly. Every time you colour your hair, perform an allergy test 48 hours before application, even if hair colour products have been used before. Perform the test on approx. 1 cm x 1 cm of skin surface in the elbow. Apply a little colour cream (tube) thinly with a cotton swab in the elbow and leave to act uncovered for 45 minutes. Close the tube tightly. After 45 minutes, wash the product thoroughly off the skin with water. If reactions appear during the processing time or during the following 48 hours, rinse the area immediately and thoroughly and do not use the product under any circumstances. The test is only a precautionary measure. Completing the test without symptoms offers no certainty that an allergic reaction will not occur when using the product.
