The Hans Baier Safety Razor, also known as a double edge safety razor, uses a single, sharp blade that is placed on the skin at a carefully determined angle. Unlike modern systems with multiple blades that can strain the skin and cut hairs below the skin surface (which can lead to ingrown hairs), this classic razor cuts the hair directly at the skin line. Use & Dosage

Thoroughly wet the skin and beard hairs with warm water and apply a mild shaving soap or shaving foam. Hold the safety razor at an angle of approximately 30 degrees to the skin. Let the weight of the razor do the work and do not apply any extra pressure yourself. Always shave with the grain to prevent irritation. Rinse the blade regularly under warm water while shaving.
