Use & Dosage
1. Clean: Cleaning the wound and removing dirt and bacteria is a first essential step for optimal wound healing. To reduce the risk of infection, spray the Hansaplast Wound Spray from a distance of approximately 10 cm onto the entire wound area. Repeat if necessary, then gently dry the wound and the surrounding area with a sterile compress. The spray can also be used for chronic wounds and post-operative wound care according to your doctor's instructions. The Hansaplast Wound Spray also helps to remove scabs or clots. Important: A small wound will stop bleeding quickly. If it continues to bleed, apply more gauze, keep pressure on the wound and seek medical attention. 2. Protect: Next, it is important to protect the wound from external influences such as dirt and bacteria to allow for undisturbed wound healing. Cover the wound with the sterile Hansaplast plaster that best suits your needs. Continue to check the wound and change the plaster or dressing regularly unless recommended otherwise by a doctor. Apply the sterile Hansaplast plaster to the skin without stretching or creasing. Press the plaster firmly. 3. Heal: Help the wound heal safely, quickly and with a lower risk of scarring. Apply Hansaplast Wound Healing Ointment regularly until the wound has completely healed. Apply a thin layer gently one to two times a day. Ensure that the opening of the tube does not come into contact with the wound. Repeat regularly until the wound has completely healed.
