Loratadine belongs to the group of antihistamines. These substances work by blocking the action of histamine in the body. Histamine is the substance responsible for the development of allergic reactions after contact with, for example, pollen or other environmental stimuli. Use & Dosage

Dosage for adults and children aged 12 years and older:
- The recommended dosage is 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily.

Dosage for children aged 2 to 12 years with a body weight of more than 30 kg:
- The recommended dosage is 1 tablet (10 mg) once daily.
- With a body weight of less than 30 kg: The recommended dosage is 1/2 tablet (5 mg) once daily.
- Hay fever tablets HTP Loratadine 10 mg is not suitable for children under 2 years of age.

Instructions for use: Take with a large amount of water. It is wise to take the tablets at approximately the same time every day, so that taking them is less likely to be forgotten. Do not use for longer than 14 days without medical advice. Read the leaflet before use. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.

Do not use if: You are allergic to any of the substances in this medicine. Note! In case of an allergy test on the skin: Stop taking this medicine at least 2 days before the allergy test. This medicine can influence the outcome of the test.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding: During pregnancy, it must NOT be used. During breastfeeding, it must NOT be used.

Consult a GP: People who are short of breath or wheezing. People with very swollen eyes and coloured eye discharge. People with symptoms on only one side of the nose. People with moderate to severe symptoms where the medicines do not help sufficiently. Women who are pregnant and have these symptoms for the first time. Reaction to Oak Processionary Moth: In case of thickening lips, tongue or eyelids, or shortness of breath and wheezing; in case of eye complaints that do not improve after rinsing the eyes; in case of complaints that do not decrease after 2 weeks.
