An accident in the kitchen or while doing DIY can happen in an instant, and a burn causes immediate severe pain and distress. When there is no running lukewarm water nearby, every second counts to draw the heat out of the skin and limit further damage. The HeltiQ Burn Dressing offers immediate cooling and relief at moments when speed and effectiveness are essential for your well-being.
- Immediate cooling for burns caused by fire, steam, hot liquids, or radiant heat.
- Ideal for locations without direct access to running water or for body parts that are difficult to cool, such as the face.
- Soothes pain through the hydrogel that absorbs heat from the wound.
- Easy to apply and secure for quick first aid in emergency situations.
How it works
This medical device uses an advanced hydrogel that consists of 90% purified water, supplemented with Tea Tree oil. As soon as the dressing is placed on the skin, the gel begins to absorb and dissipate the heat from the burn, providing a long-lasting cooling effect. This helps to stabilise the initial phase of the wound when traditional cooling methods are not immediately available. With this, VitAdvice supports your preparedness for incidents in and around the home.
