Small wounds on fingers or toes are often difficult to bandage because standard dressings slip off easily or hinder fine motor skills. When a compress does not stay in place, the wound is exposed to dirt, which can delay recovery. The Heltiq Elastic fixation bandage, 4 cm wide, offers the perfect solution for these narrow body parts, ensuring you have a stable fixation while maintaining full flexibility.
- Narrow width of 4 cm is ideal for the precise fixation of compresses on fingers and toes.
- High degree of elasticity ensures that joints can remain free to bend during recovery.
- Carefully composed material mix of polyester and viscose feels soft on sensitive skin.
- Easy to apply to both children and adults, providing peace of mind in unexpected situations.
How it works
This bandage is an essential part of the basic medical supplies for every family. The combination of polyester and viscose provides breathability and stretch, allowing the bandage to form effortlessly to the smallest contours of the body. By securing the compresses in a supportive yet flexible way, it contributes to a hygienic wound environment without disrupting the user's daily routine.

Use & Dosage
Wrap the elastic fixation bandage as much as possible in a “tiled” manner, where the layers partially overlap. Pull the bandage only slightly, so that it does not constrict. When bandaging, work as much as possible from narrow body parts towards wider body parts, for example from the ankle towards the calf.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not apply the bandage too tightly, as this will constrict. You can recognise a bandage that is applied too tightly by: discolouration of the protruding parts, worsening of pain, tingling or numbness in the protruding parts, reduced ability to move the protruding parts. An elastic fixation bandage is not intended for applying a support or compression bandage. For this, you should use a HeltiQ Cambric Bandage or a HeltiQ Ideal Support Bandage. Medical device. Read the instructions for use before use.
