How it works

HG Hair Unblocker has been specifically developed for the bathroom, where hair is the primary cause of blockages. The two components work synergistically to attack the structure of the blockage. Where traditional unblockers struggle to penetrate compact hair accumulations, the active formula with potassium hydroxide breaks down the hair and the binding fat and soap residues at a molecular level. As a result, the blockage dissolves and the dirt washes away effortlessly with water.

Usage & Dosage

Follow the steps below to unblock the washbasin, shower drain, or bath using HG hair unblocker.


1. If there is water in the washbasin, shower tray, or bath, remove as much of it as possible first.
2. Carefully pour the entire contents of bottle 1 into the blocked drain and then carefully pour the entire contents of bottle 2.
3. Leave it to work for at least 1 hour.
4. Finally, rinse with a generous amount of water.

Safety & Disclaimer

Transport and store the box upright. Always store bottles in a cool, dark, and upright position. If the blockage cannot be removed with this HG product, the blockage was not caused by hair and we recommend having a professional plumber unblock the drain. Inform this person in advance about the use of HG hair unblocker, as it may still be present in the pipes. Not suitable for aluminium and zinc pipes. This product does not remove blockages caused by construction waste, metal objects, cleaning wipes, sanitary towels, or similar non-biodegradable materials.
