How it works

Calcareous natural stone types are extremely sensitive to acids. Where traditional cement grout film removers work on an acid basis and irreparably damage the stone, this formula uses specially selected, non-ionic surfactants and phosphonates. This ensures a safe interaction with the surface, whereby the bond between the cement film and the natural stone is mildly broken without affecting the lime structure of the stone itself.

Usage & Dosage

Follow the steps below to safely and effectively remove cement and lime films with HG natural stone cement grout film remover (product 31):
1. Dissolve half a litre of cement grout film remover in half a bucket (5L) of water.
2. Wet the surface beforehand with clean water and apply the solution using a floor cloth or mop. Do not treat more than 10 to 15 m² at a time.
3. Then scrub the surface well with a scrubbing brush.
4. Leave to work for 5 minutes and then scrub well again.
5. After this, remove the solution from the surface with a floor cloth and then mop the floor with clean water.
