How it works

HG Nespresso descaler uses the natural power of L-(+)-lactic acid to dissolve limescale in a safe and odourless manner. Unlike aggressive acids, lactic acid does not attack the fragile pipes and metal parts in your coffee machine. This ensures an extremely reliable cleaning that directly supports the lifespan of your machine. With one 500 ml bottle, you can fully descale your machine no less than 4 to 5 times, which ensures long-term maintenance convenience.

Usage & Dosage

Follow the steps below when descaling the Nespresso machine with this product.

1. Pour 125ml of HG Nespresso® descaler into the water reservoir and fill it up to 750ml with water (diluted 6x). If the water reservoir is smaller than 750ml, dose 100ml of the descaler into the water reservoir and fill it up with water to 600ml (diluted 6x).
2. Let this solution work for 10 minutes.
3. Then turn on the Nespresso machine and let half of the liquid run through.
4. Turn off the machine and let the product work for 10 minutes, then let the rest of the liquid run through until the reservoir is completely empty. Your Nespresso machine is now descaled.
5. After the treatment, rinse the water reservoir well and then fill it with clean tap water.
6. Then let the machine run at least 3x with only water using the lungo button, so that no limescale residues or aftertaste remain. Your Nespresso machine is now ready for a delicious cup of coffee again.

Transport and store the bottle upright. Note: do not inhale any vapours coming from the machine. Avoid prolonged contact with stainless steel and aluminium.
