How it works

HG Stain Away no. 7 uses a specific formula with non-ionic surfactants that loosen the chemical bond of rust particles with the surface. By applying the liquid directly to the stain and adhering to the recommended soaking time, the iron oxide parts are encapsulated and liquefied. This allows them to be easily rinsed out of the fibres or pores afterwards with warm water and a brush, without the need for aggressive scouring agents.

Usage & Dosage

Follow the steps below to easily remove rust stains from textiles:
1. First treat a small inconspicuous part of the fabric and test it for colour fastness.
2. Moisten the stain well with HG stain away 7 and let it soak for about 1 to 2 hours. Do not let it dry out.
3. Then clean thoroughly with warm water and a brush. Repeat the treatment if necessary and let it soak for a longer time, but do not let the liquid dry out.
4. For smaller stains, place the textile on an absorbent white surface, for example a white tissue.
5. Dab with a cloth soaked in the product and then rinse well with warm water.
