This formula lays a wafer-thin but extremely strong protective film over your floor tiles, flagstones and slate. This restores your floor's natural deep colour and structure, while simultaneously protecting it against daily wear and tear.

How it works

HG Tile Protector (product 14) works by applying a wafer-thin polymer film that adheres to the surface of the tile. This protective layer prevents dirt and stains from penetrating directly into the pores of the tile or flagstones, making daily maintenance considerably easier. The formula is composed such that 1 litre is sufficient for the treatment of approximately 40m² per layer.

Usage & Dosage

Follow the steps below for the correct use of HG tile protector (product 14). 40 m2 of protective film is required per litre per layer.

1. Make the surface completely clean, grease-free and dust-free.
2. The adhesive/mortar and joints of new floors must be completely cured and dry. This usually requires a drying time of 4-6 weeks.
3. Do not shake before use and preferably apply with a wax spreader (see the neck label on the front of this bottle). If desired, a clean, lint-free cloth wrapped around a squeegee can also be used. Use a paint roller (fleece roller) on a coarse surface.
4. Pour the liquid onto the floor and distribute it in straight lines in one direction. Do not turn or rub.
5. Once the product has dried (after approximately 40 minutes), a second layer can be applied at right angles to the first layer.

Safety & Disclaimer

Transport and store the bottle upright. Store frost-free. Only use this product indoors, but not in rooms where it may be damp, such as bathrooms.
