How it works

HG Wallpaper Remover penetrates deep into the paper and glue layers of the wallpaper. Due to the active, non-ionic surfactants, the adhesion of the underlying wallpaper paste is immediately weakened. This process ensures that the glue becomes liquid and loses its adhesive strength. As a result, the wallpaper can be pulled off the wall without heavy mechanical stress, which protects the surface against damage.

Usage & Dosage

For washable, water-repellent, vinyl or metal wallpaper, first sand the wallpaper open with coarse sandpaper. For strippable wallpaper, first remove the top layer. Paper and other absorbent types of wallpaper do not require any pre-treatment with our wallpaper stripper. Depending on the type of wallpaper to be removed, mix the prescribed amount of HG wallpaper remover in 10 litres of water. Apply this dilution with a pressure sprayer, plant sprayer, block brush or sponge. Moisten the wallpaper thoroughly and let it soak for 5 to 15 minutes. Then create a starting point by loosening a corner, possibly using a wallpaper scraper or putty knife. After this, remove the thoroughly moistened wallpaper as much as possible in whole strips. If necessary, use a wallpaper scraper or putty knife for this.
