Injuries such as sprains or bruises often occur unexpectedly, whether you are playing sports or simply on the go. Without the right support, a joint can feel unstable and swelling can worsen the pain. The Support bandage ideal offers the necessary compression and firmness to support your body during the natural recovery process, so you can continue your daily routine with peace of mind.
- Provides targeted support to muscles and joints, which is essential for stabilising injuries such as strains.
- Stimulates blood circulation and helps reduce swelling when applied as a compression bandage.
- Highly elastic in length, allowing the bandage to fit perfectly on moving joints without coming loose.
- Durable and hygienic to use because the material is washable for repeated use.
How it works
The secret of the Support bandage Ideal lies in the specific weaving method. The bandage is stretchable in the longitudinal direction but offers resistance in the width, which ensures a stable bandage that does not 'sag'. This makes it extremely suitable for difficult areas such as the ankle or wrist. It not only provides comfortable support for varicose veins but is also powerful enough to act as a compression bandage for serious bleeding.

Use & Dosage
A Support bandage Ideal is part of a support or compression bandage. You apply such a bandage in case of a bruise, sprain, or even a serious bleed. In case of a bruise or sprain, there is often swelling, blue discolouration, pain, and an inability to use the body part. Apply a compression bandage here with synthetic cotton wool (or greasy cotton wool) and a Support bandage Ideal to distribute the pressure and reduce the swelling. Apply a few layers of synthetic or greasy cotton wool well around the site of the injury. Ensure that the cotton wool is evenly distributed. Start with the Support bandage Ideal at the edge of the cotton wool; the cotton wool must remain protruding. Wrap the bandage as much as possible in a “tiled” manner, where the layers partially overlap. Pull the bandage slightly while doing this, but not too tightly. Apply the final layer around, but again, let the cotton wool protrude slightly. Secure the bandage with the included bandage clips.
Safety & Disclaimer
Medical device. Read the instructions for use before use. Promotes blood circulation and counteracts swelling. Do not apply the bandage too tightly, as this will restrict circulation. You can recognise a bandage that is applied too tightly by: Discolouration of the protruding parts, worsening of the pain, tingling or numbness in the protruding parts, reduced ability to move the protruding parts.
