Ingredients

Excipients: maize starch, pregelatinised maize starch, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate type A, stearic acid, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), hydroxypropyl methylcellulose type 2910 5cP, erythrosine (E 127).

Use & Dosage

For adults and children over 12 years old.
The recommended dosage is initially 2 tablets of 200 mg or 1 tablet of 400 mg, if necessary followed by 1 or 2 tablets of 200 mg or 1 tablet of 400 mg per dose.
You may take a maximum of 6 tablets of 200 mg or 3 tablets of 400 mg per day (= 24 hours).
It is advisable to distribute the doses evenly throughout the day.
Adults: Consult your doctor if you do not feel better after 5 days for pain or after 3 days for fever, or if the symptoms worsen.
Adolescents (12 – 18 years old): If adolescents need this medicine for longer than 3 days or if the symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted.
Swallow the tablets whole with a large amount of water. Read the package leaflet before use. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.

Safety & Disclaimer

Do not use if:
- You are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine.
- You have severe heart failure.
- You have a history of asthma attacks resulting from the use of ibuprofen or are known to be hypersensitive to the group of medicines to which ibuprofen belongs, the so-called NSAIDs.
- You have previously had a gastrointestinal bleed or perforation when using NSAIDs.
- You have an active or recurring stomach ulcer or duodenal ulcer, bleeding in the stomach or intestines, or ulcerative inflammation of the colon.
- You have a severe impairment of kidney or liver function.
- You have a spontaneous increased tendency to bleed or are using blood thinners (anticoagulants).
- You suffer from other bleeding, e.g. a brain haemorrhage.
- During the third trimester of pregnancy.
- Can affect fertility and cause dizziness. Do not use for longer than 14 days.

#In adults, do not use this medicine for longer than 3 days for fever or longer than 5 days for pain without consulting a doctor.
#Do not use in people over 70 years old.
#Do not use without consulting a doctor if you are also using other medicines.
#Do not use without consulting a doctor if you have heart or vascular disease, stomach or intestinal disorders, or an increased risk of these.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding:
During pregnancy: Must NOT be used, unless on strict advice of a doctor.
During breastfeeding: Must NOT be used, unless on strict advice of a doctor.

Other information:
Consult a GP: If there are pain complaints lasting longer than two weeks or flu symptoms lasting longer than a week that do not improve. If you need painkillers for headaches three days a week or more. If you are using an NSAID and experience stomach problems or dark black stools.
