Accidents happen, whether it is a graze while playing sports or a small cut in the kitchen. When the skin barrier is broken, the risk of infection lurks, which can delay recovery and cause discomfort. Betadine Iodine solution offers the necessary support by disinfecting wounds immediately, so you and your family can continue your daily routine with peace of mind.
- Powerful disinfection thanks to povidone-iodine, which helps prevent infections in cuts, burns, and grazes.
- Wide applicability for the whole family, from treating small skin injuries to disinfection before medical procedures.
- Clear colour indication where the brown colour shows that the product is still active, so you know exactly when a new application is needed.
- Supports an undisturbed skin recovery process by effectively tackling harmful microorganisms.
How it works
Betadine uses povidone-iodine, a proven active ingredient known for its disinfectant properties. Upon contact with the skin, the iodine is gradually released, directly combating bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The brown colour of the solution is functional; as soon as the colour fades, the active ingredient has worn off and the product must be reapplied for continuous protection.

Use & Dosage
For the disinfection of superficial wounds and burns, Betadine solution should be applied undiluted to the areas to be treated. It is necessary to cover the entire affected area with, for example, a plaster or gauze. You should treat the wounds until there are no more signs of infection or until there is no longer a clear risk of the wound edges becoming infected. If the infection returns after treatment with Betadine solution has stopped, the treatment can be restarted. For severely inflamed or moist wounds, apply every 4-6 hours to maintain the best effect. When the brown colour fades, the solution should be reapplied.
