Recipe:
450 ml lukewarm (max 25°C) water
50g margarine or 2 tablespoons oil OR 20g bread improver
8g sugar
4g salt OR bread flavouring
500g bread mix
4g dried yeast (for bread machines) OR
7-10g dried yeast (for the oven)
Add to the mixing bowl or baking tin in the order listed above.
Oven: Mix for a maximum of 3 minutes, leave to prove for 1 hour, then bake in a preheated oven at 225°C (gas) or 180°C (fan) for 35 - 45 minutes.
