Use & Dosage
The dosage should be determined based on the child's body weight and age. Insert the suppository anally with the pointed end first. Pre-moistening the suppository facilitates insertion. Always maintain an interval of at least 6 hours between two administrations.Dosage schedule:- Children aged 3-12 months (5.5-10 kg): one 120 mg suppository, 2 to 3 times a day.- Children aged 1-2 years (10-12.5 kg): one 240 mg suppository, 2 to 3 times a day.- Children aged 2-4 years (12.5-17 kg): one 240 mg suppository, 3 times a day.- Children aged 4-6 years (17-22 kg): one 240 mg suppository, 4 times a day.- Children aged 6 to 9 years: one 500 mg suppository, 2-3 times a day.- Children aged 9 to 12 years: one 500 mg suppository, 3 times a day.- Children aged 12 to 15 years: one 1000 mg suppository, 2-3 times a day.- Adults: one 500 mg or 1000 mg suppository, up to a maximum of 4000 mg per day.Do not exceed the stated maximum daily dosage. Do not use in combination with other paracetamol-containing products. The suppositories are not suitable for situations where immediate, acute pain relief is desired.

Always read the package leaflet before use. It is important not to exceed the recommended dosage, as an excessive dosage can lead to serious liver and kidney problems. With long-term use against headache, there is a risk of the occurrence of medication-overuse headache. Stop use immediately if skin rash or sores in the mouth occur and consult a doctor immediately.Do not use in case of: liver or kidney disorders, Gilbert's syndrome, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, haemolytic anaemia, dehydration, chronic malnutrition, or asthma in combination with an allergy to aspirin. Do not use simultaneously with certain other medicines (consult the package leaflet for this).When to consult a doctor:- In children younger than 3 months with fever.- In children up to 4 years old when the pain or fever has not decreased after 2 days (administration for longer than 2 days is discouraged in this group).- In children older than 4 years when the symptoms persist after 5 days.- In adults when the pain persists for longer than 5 days or the fever for longer than 3 days, or when the symptoms worsen.- If you need painkillers for headaches for more than 15 days per month.
