How it works
The liver releases specific enzymes, the transaminases ALT and AST, into the bloodstream when there is reduced function or dysfunction. LIVER-Screen® is an immunodiagnostic test specifically designed to detect an increase in this activity in capillary blood. By using an advanced test strip in a cassette, this test offers a scientifically based method to monitor the health status of this essential organ at home.

Ingredients
The test kit contains a test cassette with a reactive strip for the detection of transaminases, a sterile lancet for blood collection, a plastic pipette for sample transfer and a dropper bottle with dilution fluid.
Use & Dosage
1. Prepare the test device, the pipette and the dropper bottle with diluent. Remove them from the protective pouch (tear at the notch. Remove the screw cap from the dilution dropper bottle and leave it nearby).
2. Clean the tip of the middle finger or ring finger with cotton wool moistened with alcohol. Press the lancet firmly against the side of the previously cleaned finger and press the release button.
3. Bring the plastic pipette into contact with the blood sample without pressing the bulb. The whole blood migrates into the pipette by capillarity to the line indicated on the pipette.
4. Dispense the blood into the sample opening of the cassette by pressing down on the bulb of the pipette. Wait 30-40 seconds for the blood to be absorbed. Unscrew the blue cap of the dropper bottle and keep the white cap in place. Add 4 drops of diluent to the well, with an interval of 2-3 seconds. Read the result after 10 minutes. Do not interpret after 15 minutes.
