Optimal kidney function is essential for filtering waste products, but initial disturbances are often not immediately noticeable in your daily routine. Factors such as high blood pressure or diabetes can increase the load on your kidneys, which can lead to uncertainty about your long-term health. The Swisspoint Care M-albu-check offers a fast and reliable method to check for the presence of albumin in urine at home, so you can gain timely insight into your vital functions.
- Rapid detection: Provides a qualitative determination of albumin concentrations in urine within 10 minutes.
- Early warning: Helps in detecting potential dysfunction of the kidney filtering function, even before physical symptoms occur.
- User-friendly: Simple strip test that can be performed discreetly at home with a small urine sample.
- Support for risk factors: Ideally suited for individuals with a history of hypertension or diabetes to monitor kidney health.
How it works
Albumin is a protein that is normally present in urine only in very small, barely detectable amounts. When the kidney's filtering function is not working optimally, albumin can end up in the urine in larger quantities. The M-Albu-Check-1 uses an immunochromatographic method to quickly make these abnormal concentrations visible, which contributes to a preventive approach to your health.
