How it works
The ear candle works according to a traditional principle where a slight negative pressure and the vibration of the airflow in the candle provide a gentle massage of the eardrum. This process helps to loosen impurities. The heat released during burning intensifies the feeling of well-being and supports local blood circulation, which contributes to the overall vitality of the auditory organ.

Usage & Dosage
The non-burning end of the ear candle is placed vertically into the ear with a slight rotating movement and with gentle downward pressure to completely seal the ear canal. The ear candle is correctly positioned when no smoke is seen coming from the ear canal and a fine crackling sound is heard. The hand rests over the patient's ear, with the ear candle held between the fingers. The ear candle does not go out by itself. Let it burn down to approximately 1cm above the red line, certainly no further. Then remove the ear candle from the ear with a slight rotating movement and extinguish it in a glass of water. One must always treat both ears, ear after ear. After removing the ear candle, clean the ear lightly with an ear scoop.
Safety & Disclaimer
For safety reasons, it is not recommended to apply ear candles to yourself. Always have the treatment performed by a second person. In the case of a perforated eardrum, middle ear implants, acute ear infections, and skin conditions of the ear and ear canal, treatment is not recommended. If in doubt, seek advice from a therapist.
