How it works
Excedrin combines two well-known painkillers, acetylsalicylic acid and paracetamol, each of which acts on the pain system in a different way. Acetylsalicylic acid also has an anti-inflammatory effect. The addition of caffeine acts as a mild stimulant that supports the absorption and effectiveness of the painkillers, allowing faster relief of symptoms in migraine and tension headaches.

Ingredients
250 mg acetylsalicylic acid, 250 mg paracetamol and 65 mg caffeine. Tablet core: low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose (E460), stearic acid. Film coating: hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), propylene glycol, benzoic acid (E210), carnauba wax (E903).
Use & Dosage
For headaches: Take 1 tablet with a full glass of water when it begins. If necessary, take another 1 tablet after 4-6 hours. For severe pain, take 2 tablets when it begins, and if necessary another 1-2 tablets after 4-6 hours. Use for a maximum of 4 days. For migraine: Take 2 tablets with a full glass of water when symptoms or aura begin. If necessary, take another 2 tablets after 4-6 hours. Maximum dosage: 6 tablets per 24 hours.

Do not use if you are allergic to the ingredients or NSAIDs, have stomach or intestinal ulcers, blood disorders, or severe heart, liver or kidney problems. Must NOT be used during pregnancy or breast-feeding. Limit alcohol and caffeine-containing products during use. This medicine may cause stomach problems. Do not use for longer than 3 days for migraine and 4 days for headaches without consulting a doctor. Read the package leaflet before use.
