Ingredients
Each NiQuitin Mini Lozenge 4 mg contains 4 mg of nicotine (in the form of a resin complex, called nicotine resinate). The other ingredients (excipients) are: mannitol (E421), sodium alginate (E401), xanthan gum (E415), potassium bicarbonate (E501), calcium polycarbophil, sodium carbonate anhydrous (E500), potassium acesulfame (E950), mint flavouring, sucralose (E955), magnesium stearate (E470b).
Usage & Dosage
Adults (18 years and older): Start with 8 to 12 lozenges per day. Take a lozenge whenever you feel the urge to smoke. Use the lozenges in this way for a maximum of 6 weeks and then gradually reduce the number of lozenges you take daily. When you are only using 1 or 2 lozenges per day, you can stop using the lozenges completely. Maximum dosage: 15 pieces per 24 hours. Take the lozenge when there is a need to smoke. After 6 weeks, start reducing the dosage. When using only 1-2 lozenges per day, stop using. Do not use for longer than 9 months without the advice of a doctor.

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine, are under 12 years of age or are a non-smoker. During pregnancy and breastfeeding: Must NOT be used, unless on the strict advice of a doctor. Consult your GP when using medicines such as theophylline, antidepressants, antipsychotics, beta-blockers, medicines for heart rhythm disorders or cancer. Also consult in case of (severe) asthma or COPD, heart conditions and/or diabetes, or in case of previous failed attempts to stop. Do not use in combination with certain (prescription) medicines, see package leaflet. This medicine may only be used by young people aged 12 to 17 under the supervision of a doctor. Do not switch from lozenges to nicotine gum or vice versa during a quit attempt. Read the package leaflet before use and pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.
