Ibuprofen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These substances work by influencing the body's response to pain and fever. By temporarily inhibiting the production of certain endogenous substances that transmit pain signals, you experience relief from symptoms. The liquid filling of these specific capsules is designed to make the active ingredient immediately available to the body.

Ingredients

Filling: Macrogol 600, Potassium hydroxide, Purified water. Capsule shell: Sorbitol, liquid (E420), Gelatin, Ponceau 4R (E124). Ink: Titanium dioxide (E171), Propylene glycol, Hypromellose (E464). Production excipients: Triglycerides (medium-chain), Lecithin (E322).

Use & Dosage

Adults and children & adolescents with a body weight of 40 kg or more (12 years and older). Starting dose: 1 capsule (400 mg ibuprofen) with water, then if necessary 1 capsule (400 mg ibuprofen) every six hours. Do not take more than three capsules (1200 mg) in a 24-hour period. Maintain 6-hour intervals; take with water, do not chew. Use the lowest possible dosage and for a short time. Children aged 12 to 18: consult a doctor if use for longer than 3 days is necessary or if symptoms worsen. Adults: Consult a doctor if there is no improvement after 4 days for pain or after 3 days for fever, or if symptoms worsen.

Do not use if: allergic to ibuprofen or excipients; previous breathing problems, asthma or hives after using NSAIDs; active or recurrent stomach or intestinal ulcers/bleeding; severe kidney, liver or heart failure; brain haemorrhages; severe dehydration; last three months of pregnancy. This medicine can cause stomach problems and should not be used with certain blood thinners. Stop immediately if you develop a skin rash or mouth sores. Consult a doctor if pain lasts longer than two weeks or flu symptoms last longer than a week. Not suitable for children under 40 kg or under 12 years of age.
