Skin: massage, bath: 5 to 10 drops per 10 ml of vegetable oil. Contains naturally occurring d-limonene, citral, linalool, geraniol. May irritate the skin if used undiluted on the skin. Although the phototoxic components are less concentrated than in bergamot, it is still recommended to avoid exposure to the sun or sunbeds for at least 12 hours after use on the skin.
Diffusion: 5 to 10 drops. Depending on your preference or the size of the room.
General precautions:
1. Always respect the recommended dosage/dilution stated on the packaging.
2. Keep essential oils out of the reach of children, in a cool place and in a tightly closed bottle!
3. Essential oils are flammable and volatile. Do not expose them to high temperatures!
4. Patients with epilepsy, asthma, and heart conditions should only use essential oils in consultation with their GP.
5. Essential oils of thyme, oregano, clove, and wintergreen are irritating. Do not ingest, diffuse, or apply to the skin undiluted!

Precautions for internal use:
1. Certain essential oils are suitable for external use only! This is always clearly stated on the packaging.
2. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age and pregnant or lactating women.
3. Never use undiluted. Use a carrier (honey, herbal infusion, etc.) for the ingestion of essential oils.
4. In case of accidental ingestion of a large quantity of essential oil (from ½ ml), drink some edible vegetable oil and consult the Poison Centre.
5. Continuous use of essential oils is not recommended.
Precautions for external use:
1. As a precaution, it is recommended not to use essential oils on children under 3 years of age and pregnant or lactating women. True lavender and Eucalyptus radiata are exceptions to this.
2. Never apply undiluted to the skin. Dilute in a vegetable oil, cream, gel, or shampoo, also for use in the bath! Some essential oils can be applied pure to the skin after advice from a healthcare professional.
3. Essential oils naturally contain components that can cause allergic reactions in hypersensitive people (e.g., citral, d-limonene, linalool, geraniol, citronellol, etc.). These components are always listed on the packaging. Before using an essential oil on the skin, it is wise to do an allergy test. Dilute one drop of essential oil in 10 ml of vegetable oil and apply this to the inside of your elbow. If the skin does not feel red or itchy after 24 hours, you are not allergic.
4. All citrus essential oils are photosensitising! Photosensitisation is the result of an interaction between UV rays and a sensitising substance. The skin becomes red and looks burnt. Avoid exposure to UV rays for at least 12 hours after use on the skin!
5. Avoid contact with eyes, ears, nose, and mucous membranes! In case of accidental contact: immediately 'rinse' with vegetable oil.
