Usage & Dosage

One possible option is to drink our tea powders according to the following traditional preparation:

Bring fresh, preferably soft (lightly mineralised) water to a boil. Allow the water to cool to approximately 80°C (e.g., open the kettle, wait 10 min, or pour the water 4-5 times into another jug, as the water cools each time it is poured). Put 1 to 2 g of tea powder (2 bamboo scoops or ½ teaspoon; to your own taste) into a bowl and pour the water over it (70-100 ml). Whisk the tea for approx. 15 seconds with a bamboo whisk until it forms a frothy liquid.

However, this is not the only way to enjoy our tea powders. Try drinking your Matcha pure with ice-cold water or “on the rocks” as they do in Japan. Furthermore, they have endless possibilities. You can add them to your favourite smoothie or shake, hot drink, or you can incorporate them into ice cream or in baked goods or in gourmet dishes and even in spices!
