Paracetamol HTP caplet 500 mg belongs to the group of medicines with an analgesic and antipyretic effect. The active substance paracetamol supports the body in the symptomatic treatment of pain and fever. It is a widely used agent due to its mild properties for the stomach, while it specifically targets the signals of pain and elevated body temperature.

Ingredients
Paracetamol, polyvidone (E1201), maize starch, stearic acid (E570) and sodium starch glycolate.
Use & Dosage
Adults and children from 15 years (> 55 kg body weight): 1-2 tablets of 500 mg at a time, maximum 6 tablets of 500 mg per day. Use in children: 6 - 9 years: ½ tablet of 500 mg at a time, maximum 4-6 times per day. 9 -12 years: 1 tablet of 500 mg at a time, maximum 3-4 times per day. 12-15 years: 1 tablet of 500 mg at a time, maximum 4-6 times per day. The lowest number of doses per 24 hours is intended for the youngest children in a specific group. Take the tablets with a large amount of water. Maintain 4-hour intervals between doses. If there is no improvement in the condition, do not use for longer than 3 days for fever and 5 days for pain without consulting a doctor. Do not use for longer than 14 days without the advice of a doctor.

Do not use if allergic to any of the substances in this medicine. Warning: It is important not to use too much, as this medicine can cause liver and kidney problems. This medicine carries a risk of headache with prolonged use for headaches. Stop use immediately if you develop a skin rash or mouth sores and contact a doctor. Do not use in case of liver or kidney function disorders, unless strictly advised by a doctor. Do not use in combination with alcohol. In case of heavy and prolonged alcohol consumption, do not use more than 2 grams of paracetamol per day. Do not use in combination with certain other medicines, see leaflet. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, use for as short a time as possible and in the lowest possible dosage. Consult a GP if pain or fever persists after 5 days, or if used for more than 15 days per month for headaches. Read the leaflet before use.
