Usage & Dosage
For binding and thickening food. For direct consumption: add to warm water, 30 minutes for fibre-rich preparations, 2-3 hours for gel-like preparations. For thickening: boil while stirring for 4 minutes in boiling water until dissolved. Gel formation occurs upon cooling and it retains its texture at room temperature. Dosage guidelines per 500ml:
- Very soft texture: 0.8g / 500ml
- Soft texture: 1.5g / 500ml
- Hard texture: 5g / 500ml
- Very hard texture: 7g / 500ml
