What this medicine is used for
Used to break down thick, stubborn mucus so that it becomes thin and liquid and can be easily coughed up in respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of the windpipe), emphysema, cystic fibrosis, and bronchiectasis (long-term widening of a branch of the windpipe).

Do not use if

• You are allergic to any of the substances in this medicine.
• Children under 2 years of age must not use this medicine.
