LACTOSE monohydrate, maize starch, talc (E553b), magnesium stearate (E470b), gelatin, Patent Blue V (E131), black iron oxide (E172), yellow iron oxide (E172) and titanium dioxide (E171).
Use & Dosage
Adults: For acute diarrhoea, start with 2 capsules (4 mg). Then take 1 capsule (2 mg) after each subsequent loose stool. Maximum 8 capsules per day. For chronic diarrhoea, start with 2 capsules per day and adjust until solid stools are achieved 1 to 2 times a day (usually 1 to 6 capsules). Maximum 8 capsules per day. Children from 8 years: For acute diarrhoea, start with 1 capsule (2 mg). Then take 1 capsule after each subsequent loose stool. The maximum daily dose depends on weight: 20-27 kg (max. 3), 27-34 kg (max. 4), 34-40 kg (max. 5), 40-47 kg (max. 6), 47-54 kg (max. 7), >54 kg (max. 8 capsules). Read the package leaflet before use.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not use if allergic to loperamide or excipients, in children under 2 years (capsules not under 8 years), in case of suspected poisoning, megacolon, constipation, persistent abdominal pain with high fever or blood in the stool, or in case of certain bacterial bowel infections.
