How it works
The active ingredient pantoprazole belongs to the group of proton pump inhibitors. It temporarily blocks the pumps in the stomach wall that are responsible for the production of stomach acid. This gives the oesophagus the chance to recover from the irritation caused by rising acid. Although the first relief is often noticeable after a day, the product works optimally with continuous use for several days.

Ingredients
Tablet core: calcium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone (type A), hydroxypropyl cellulose (type EXF), anhydrous sodium carbonate, anhydrous colloidal silica. Coating: hypromellose, iron oxide yellow (E172), macrogol 400, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1), polysorbate 80, Ponceau 4R aluminium lake (E124), quinoline yellow aluminium lake (E104), sodium lauryl sulphate, titanium dioxide (E171), triethyl citrate.
Use & Dosage
Take before a meal, at the same time every day. Swallow whole with some water. Do not chew or break the tablets. Use for at least 2-3 consecutive days. Stop taking if symptoms are gone. This product is not intended for immediate relief of symptoms; relief is usually noticeable after 1 day. If there is no improvement in symptoms after 2 weeks of continuous use, consult a doctor. Do not use for longer than 4 weeks without consulting a doctor. The recommended dose is one tablet per day. Do not exceed this recommended dose of 20 mg pantoprazole per day.
