Ingredients
Each sachet contains 10 g of macrogol 4000. Excipients: sodium saccharinate (E-954) and orange-grapefruit flavouring (contains orange oil, grapefruit oil, orange juice, citral, acetaldehyde, linalool, ethyl butyrate, alpha-terpineol, octonal, beta- & gamma-hexanol, maltodextrin, gum arabic, sorbitol (E420), butylated hydroxyanisole (E320)).
Use & Dosage
Adults and children over 8 years: The recommended dosage is 1 to 2 sachets per day, preferably taken in the morning as a single dose. Start by taking 1 sachet per day and increase this to 2 sachets per day if necessary. The daily dose can be adjusted depending on the effect the medicine has. This can vary from 1 sachet every other day (especially in children) to a maximum of 2 sachets every day. Maximum dosage: 2 sachets per 24 hours. Take daily dose at once in the morning; dissolve powder in half a glass of water (50 ml per sachet) and then drink. Effect noticeable after 24 to 48 hours.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not use if allergic to any of the substances, serious bowel diseases (such as Crohn's or ulcerative colitis), bowel perforation, bowel blockage, or unexplained abdominal pain. Consult a doctor before use in the elderly. Stop immediately if swelling of the face or throat occurs. Avoid mixing with starch-based thickeners if you have swallowing difficulties.
