How it works The Medela Silicone Breast Milk Collector works based on a light, natural vacuum force. Ingredients This product is manufactured from high-quality, safe materials that are free from BPA. The collector and the sealing stopper consist entirely of 100% food-grade silicone. The protective lid is made of polypropylene and the accompanying safety lanyard is produced from durable ABS. Use & Dosage During use, always ensure that the safety lanyard is attached and worn around the neck to prevent accidental falling or spilling. Squeeze the collector gently in the middle. Place the breast shield firmly on the breast and the areola, with the nipple neatly centred, so that an airtight seal is created. You can then start feeding your baby on the other breast or start pumping. When the collector is full or when you have finished feeding or pumping, hold the collector firmly and squeeze the shield gently to break the vacuum and remove the collector from your breast. Place the silicone stopper directly into the opening before you set the collector down. Then press the collector down lightly on a flat table to activate the suction base at the bottom, so that tipping over is prevented.
