Use & Dosage

The dosage should be based on body weight, and an appropriate dosage form should be used. The minimum number of doses per 24 hours is intended for the youngest children in the indicated weight and/or age group. Maintain a 4-hour interval between doses. Chew the tablets or crush and take with liquid. Read the package leaflet before use and pay attention to the maximum daily dosage. Children aged 3 months to 1 year (5.5 to 10 kg body weight): ½ tablet at a time, maximum 4 to 6 half tablets (240-360 mg) per 24 hours. Children aged 1 to 2 years (10 to 12.5 kg body weight): 1 tablet at a time, maximum 4 to 6 tablets (480-720 mg) per 24 hours. Children aged 2 to 4 years (12.5 to 17 kg body weight): 1-1½ tablets at a time, maximum 4 to 9 tablets (480-1080 mg) per 24 hours. Children aged 4 to 6 years (17-22 kg body weight): 1½ tablets at a time, maximum 6 to 9 tablets (720-1080 mg) per 24 hours. Children aged 6 to 9 years (22-30 kg body weight): 2 tablets at a time, maximum 8 to 12 tablets (960-1440 mg) per 24 hours. Children aged 9 to 12 years (30-40 kg body weight): 3 tablets at a time, maximum 12 to 18 tablets (1440-2160 mg) per 24 hours.
