Sterilise the dummy before first use by placing it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Let the dummy cool down and squeeze any remaining water out of the teat. Clean the dummy daily afterwards by pouring boiling water over it. Replace the dummy every 4 to 6 weeks for hygienic and safety reasons.
Check the dummy thoroughly before each use, especially when your child has teeth. Pull the dummy in all directions to check for cracks or damage. Discard the dummy immediately at the first signs of wear or damage. Use only special dummy clips that meet safety standards and never attach them to loose cords or ribbons.
