When a chesty cough disrupts your child's daily routine, it can lead to discomfort and a restless feeling. Thick mucus in the airways makes coughing difficult, which can be tiring for both the child and the rest of the family. Bisolvon for children offers a trusted solution by thinning the mucus, making it easier to cough up and relieving the airways.
- Facilitates coughing by liquefying thick mucus in the airways.
- Specially formulated for children from 2 years old with a pleasant strawberry flavour.
- Supports a faster recovery of natural breathing freedom.
- Accurate dosing possible thanks to the included measuring cup.
How it works
Bisolvon contains bromhexine hydrochloride, an ingredient scientifically known as a mucolytic. It works by tackling the structure of thick mucus and lowering its viscosity. As a result, the mucus loses its stickiness and the transport mechanism of the airways can move it out more easily. This process supports the natural cleaning of the lungs without completely suppressing the cough reflex, which is essential for removing unwanted mucus.
