Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting the JOIK candle. This prevents the wick from producing smoke. If the wick is not trimmed, the flame may become too large, which can be dangerous and affects the quality of the candle's burn. If you notice the flame becoming too large or smoking, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight it.
