The Joik Organics Scented Candle uses locally sourced European rapeseed wax instead of traditional paraffin. Usage & Dosage

Always trim or cut the wick to 5 mm before lighting your JOIK candle. This ensures the wick does not smoke. If you do not trim the wick, the flame may become too large and the wick will produce smoke - burning a candle under these conditions can be dangerous and also damages the quality of the candle burning experience. If you see that the flame is becoming too large or smoking, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight the candle.
