The effect of Syoss Metallics is based on an advanced combination of rich colour pigments and structural hair care. During the colouring process, the pigments penetrate deep into the core of the hair fibre. At the same time, the added keratin helps to support the natural building blocks of the hair. Keratin is a body-own protein that is essential for the strength and elasticity of the hair structure. By replenishing this protein during colouring, the porosity of the hair is reduced and the surface gets a smooth, reflective structure. Prepare the mixture as indicated in the instruction manual and apply it to dry, unwashed hair. Let the mixture develop and then rinse it out thoroughly. The development time depends on the chosen shade; always consult the instruction manual. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo, apply the conditioner, and leave it on for 2 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly.
Step 1: Prepare and mix
Protect your clothing and put on the included gloves. Keep a watch, timer, or clock handy to keep track of the time. Open the application bottle with developer emulsion and open the colour cream by piercing the aluminium foil with the back of the cap. Squeeze the entire contents of the colour cream into the application bottle and close the application bottle. Shake the application bottle vigorously back and forth until it is well mixed and has turned into a smooth cream. Then unscrew the cap and start applying the mixture immediately.
Step 2: Apply
Apply the colour mixture directly from the application bottle to dry, unwashed hair, strand by strand. Then distribute it evenly over the hair to ensure that the hair is covered everywhere. Let the colour mixture develop for the indicated development time.
Step 3: Rinse
After the development time, rinse the hair well with lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Then apply a mild shampoo and rinse it out well. For extra care, the included Salonplex Conditioner can be applied to wet hair. Leave that conditioner on for 2 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.
Step 4: Maintenance & preservation of your hair colour
Use a shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair to maintain the vibrancy of your hair colour for a long time, such as the Syoss Color Shampoo. This shampoo seals colour pigments and protects the colour against fading for up to 12 weeks.
Step 5: Touch up roots
Suffering from roots? Use the Syoss Root Touch-Up Spray to temporarily camouflage your roots (washes out in 1 wash and is water and perspiration resistant). Or use the Syoss Root Touch-Up Kit to camouflage your roots long-term between 2 colouring sessions, quickly and easily in just 10 minutes, with nourishing oil for a caring effect.

Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions. Follow the instructions. This product is not intended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary tattoos with black henna may lead to an increased risk of an allergic reaction.
Do not colour your hair if:
- you have a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp;
- you have previously experienced a reaction after hair colouring;
- you have experienced a reaction to a temporary black henna tattoo in the past.
Contains hydrogen peroxide, phenylenediamines (toluenediamines), resorcinol, and ammonia. See bottom of packaging for ingredients. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately. Do not use for dyeing eyelashes or eyebrows. Rinse hair well after application. Wear suitable gloves. We recommend performing an allergy alert test 48 hours before using this hair colour (see leaflet), even if you have used a hair colour before in the past. Remember to buy the product 48 hours before use. If any reaction occurs or in case of doubt, consult a doctor before colouring your hair again. Keep out of reach of children.
