How it works
Benzoylperoxide is an established ingredient in skincare that is specifically used for acne. It works by softening the top layer of the skin and inhibiting the growth of bacteria involved in the development of spots. Benzoylperoxide, carbomer 940, lauromacrogol, propylene glycol (E1520), sodium hydroxide (E524), water.
Use & Dosage
Test the gel first behind the ear or in the crook of the elbow. Cleanse the skin with a mild, soap-free cleanser or wash the skin with lukewarm water. Apply thinly in the evening (do not massage in) on areas with acne. If this is well tolerated, treatment can be continued by applying 2x per day. Wash the gel off again early in the morning. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.

Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. External use only, not on mucous membranes, nose, mouth or eyes. Has a bleaching effect on hair and coloured textiles. Not on damaged skin or just before/after sunbathing (or UV light). Stop immediately in case of itching, swelling or blistering. Contains propylene glycol (E1520) which can cause irritation. Consult a doctor in case of fever, sudden acne over 25 years of age, or if there is no improvement after 3 months. Read the patient information leaflet before use.
