Use & Dosage

Adults and adolescents from 12 years:
The recommended dosage is 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily. Other forms of this medicine may be more suitable for children; ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Use in children from 6 to 12 years:
The recommended dosage is 5 mg twice daily (half a tablet twice daily).

Maximum dosage: 1 tablet per 24 hours.

Instructions for use: Take with sufficient liquid. The tablet can be divided into equal parts. In case of moderate to severe impairment of kidney function: half a tablet once a day. If the symptom(s) do not improve within 3 days, consult a doctor. Read the package leaflet before use. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.

Do not use if:
- You are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride, to hydroxyzine, to piperazine derivatives (closely related active substances of other medicines) or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- You have a severe impairment of kidney function (severe renal failure with a creatinine clearance of less than 10 ml/min).

Warnings:
- This medicine may reduce reaction speed, and therefore be dangerous when driving and using machines. We advise you to read the package leaflet before use.
- Ensure that children play safely (for example, not high on a climbing frame) if they have used this medicine.
- Consult a doctor before use in case of epilepsy, urinary problems, or an enlarged prostate.

- People who are short of breath or wheezing.

- Women who are pregnant and have these symptoms for the first time.
- Reaction to Oak Processionary Moth: In case of thickening lips, tongue, or eyelids, or wheezing and shortness of breath.
- Reaction to Oak Processionary Moth: In case of eye complaints that do not improve after rinsing the eyes.
- Reaction to Oak Processionary Moth: In case of complaints that do not decrease after 2 weeks.
