Ingredients
LACTOSE monohydrate, maize starch, magnesium stearate (E572), colloidal silicon dioxide (anhydrous) (E551). Capsule wall: sunset yellow FCF (E110), patent blue (E131), titanium dioxide (E171), black iron oxide (E172), gelatin (E441). Ink: titanium dioxide (E171), shellac (E904), propylene glycol (E1520), sodium hydroxide (E524), povidone (E1201).
Use & Dosage
Children start with 1 capsule, the number of capsules per day depends on body weight. Adults start with 2 capsules. Then 1 capsule after each subsequent loose stool. For usage advice for chronic diarrhoea, see the package leaflet. Keep at least 2 hours between intakes. Acute diarrhoea should have decreased within 48 hours, otherwise stop use. If there is no improvement in the complaint within 14 days, consult a doctor. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.
Safety & Disclaimer
Do not use if allergic to loperamide or excipients, in children under 2 years (capsules not under 8 years), in case of possible poisoning, megacolon, bowel obstruction, high fever or blood in the stool. There is a risk of dehydration; drink 2 litres of water per day. Must NOT be used during pregnancy (unless advised by a doctor) or breastfeeding.
