Teva Loratadine 10 mg belongs to the class of antihistamines. During a hypersensitivity reaction, the body produces histamine, the substance responsible for the well-known discomforts of the airways, eyes and skin. The active ingredient loratadine helps to inhibit this reaction by blocking the action of histamine. Use & Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, the following dosages apply:
Adults and children over 12 years: One tablet once a day (= 10 mg).
Children from 2 to 12 years with a body weight of more than 30 kg: one tablet once a day (= 10 mg).
Children from 2 to 12 years with a body weight of 30 kg or less: do not use Loratadine Teva 10 mg tablets. Other formulations are available that are more suitable for children from 2 to 12 years with a body weight of 30 kg or less.
Loratadine Teva 10 mg is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.

Take the tablet with sufficient water. There is no need to take the timing of meals into account for the time of intake. Read the package leaflet before use. Pay attention to the maximum daily dosage.
