Unexplained sneezing fits, fatigue, or a blocked nose can significantly hinder your daily vitality. It is often difficult to determine whether these symptoms are caused by a cold or an allergic reaction to house dust mites. The Allergy Test from The Tester offers you the possibility to quickly and easily investigate at home whether your immune system is reacting to house dust mites, so that you can take targeted action for a healthier living environment.
- Quick insight into your allergy status with a reliable result that can be read within 10 to 15 minutes.
- Targeted detection of specific IgE antibodies against house dust mites in the blood for an accurate indication of an allergy.
- User-friendly execution at home with the included automatic lancet and transfer pipette for careful sample collection.
- High clinical reliability with a sensitivity of 93% and a specificity of 92%.
How it works
The test works by demonstrating the presence of specific IgE antibodies in the blood. These antibodies are produced by the body in response to house dust mite allergens. By mixing a small amount of blood with the buffer solution on the test cassette, an immunological reaction makes it visible whether an increased concentration of antibodies is present. This provides a scientific basis to better understand your symptoms.
