What is this product used for For measuring temperature orally, rectally or axillary.
Instructions for use 1. Before the measurement procedure, check that the liquid column is at least below 36 °C. 2. Clean the glass thermometer before and after use. 3. Place the thermometer on the body according to the type of measurement (oral, rectal, axillary) 4. After at least 4 minutes, the thermometer has recorded the body temperature. The measuring liquid in the measuring capillary of the thermometer shows the measured body temperature on the temperature scale. Reading the temperature can be made easier by rotating the thermometer slightly back and forth. 5. After measurement, the display liquid must be returned to at least below 36 °C. To do this, the thermometer should be held as far as possible at the top end and shaken with at least 15 to 20 quick movements from the wrist.

Warnings The thermometer has a hermetically sealed, hygienic glass casing and can be disinfected indefinitely.
The temperature of the cleaning and disinfecting agent must not exceed 32°C. Cleaning the glass thermometer before and after use can be done with cold soapy water. Disinfect the thermometer with a cotton ball or cloth soaked in alcohol, or immerse the thermometer in a disinfectant solution. If the thermometer breaks, the spilled liquid can be removed using a brush, tissue or cloth moistened with soapy water. The remains can be disposed of as household waste.

Other information Oral - measuring time: min. 4 minutes. Normal temperature 37 °C Oral measurement is preferred by doctors. It provides accurate results quickly. The tip of the thermometer (sensor) is placed in the cavity to the left or right of the root of the tongue.
Rectal - measuring time: min. 4 minutes. normal temperature: approx. 37.6 °C The rectal method is preferably used for children. The tip of the thermometer (sensor) is inserted into the anus (approx. 2 cm), and a little skin cream or baby oil can be applied to the tip. You can use a protective cover for the thermometer. Insert the thermometer into this protective cover. Rub the protective cover for the measuring sensor with a water-soluble gel to facilitate insertion. Do not use raw petroleum jelly. Do not insert the tip of the measuring sensor further than 2 cm into the rectum. STOP if you feel resistance anywhere.
Axillary - measuring time: min. 4 minutes. normal temperature: approx. 36.7 °C. The axillary measurement method gives less accurate readings than oral or rectal measurement.
