If you are going to dye your hair yourself with Toujours Trend and you have never done this before, it starts with choosing the right hair colour. It is best to dye a maximum of 2 to 3 shades lighter or darker first. Because the colour transition between your new colour and your current colour will otherwise normally be too large and it is already quite an adjustment to take this step.

Important to know before you get started:
Natural uncoloured hair can always be dyed lighter and darker
Treated coloured hair can only be dyed darker but never lighter
First, put the measured amount of oxidation in a plastic or glass mixing bowl (no metal) and then add the measured amount of hair dye (see instructions and quantities inside the packaging). Immediately afterwards, mix the whole thing well with a dye brush until it is a homogeneous mixture. Apply the mixture evenly with the brush starting from the roots. Then, if necessary, comb through the hair with a coarse comb. Let the dye work for 30 minutes; for blonde hair, this is 40-60 minutes. Rinse well afterwards and wash the hair with an after-colour shampoo.
