Usage
Cook a whole or half strip with rice, vegetables, or pulses for extra umami. Remove the strip after cooking; it is not intended for consumption. To make dashi, soak 1 strip of kombu and 2 shiitake mushrooms in 1 litre of water for 4 to 20 hours in the refrigerator.
Storage
After opening, store in an airtight container in a dry, dark place at room temperature (maximum 20 °C).
